Lula da Silva suggested that Trump convene UN Security Council regarding war in Ukraine

Brazilian President Lula da Silva proposed that U.S. President Donald Trump convene an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council regarding the war in Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, Lula da Silva announced this on social media.
The phone call between the presidents lasted one hour and 20 minutes. The two leaders discussed major global conflicts, including Russia’s war against Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East.
According to Lula da Silva, they agreed on the need to seek a negotiated solution as soon as possible to end the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
"We agreed on the urgency of finding a negotiated solution to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, which has been ongoing for nearly five years," said the Brazilian president.
Trump also shared his assessment of the prospects for resolving the conflict with Iran.
Brazil is calling for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council
Lula da Silva said he was disappointed by the UN Security Council's ineffectiveness in resolving global crises.
He proposed convening an extraordinary meeting of this body to discuss diplomatic ways to resolve the current conflicts.
According to the Brazilian president, he had previously made a similar proposal to Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
