Odesa region under heavy enemy attack: three people injured, including 16-year-old girl

A large-scale attack by the Russian Federation on the Odesa region

Today, 22 August, Russian troops are launching a large-scale attack on the Odesa region, resulting in casualties.

This was reported by Oleh Kiper, head of the Regional Military Administration, according to Censor.NET.

What is known

During the day, Russia carried out a prolonged combined attack on the region’s civilian infrastructure.

  • A private house and a holiday home were damaged as a result of the attack. Unfortunately, a woman and a 16-year-old girl were injured.
  • In addition, an agribusiness was hit, and three grain silos were damaged. One more person was injured.

It is reported that all relevant services are working at the sites of the strikes. The injured are being given the necessary assistance.

"Once again, the enemy is deliberately targeting civilians, homes and facilities that have no military significance whatsoever," Kiper emphasised.

What led up to it?

It was previously reported that the Odesa region was under attack from the Russian Federation throughout the night: a railway station, an industrial plant and a house were damaged.

In addition, the enemy has caused significant damage to several power facilities belonging to DTEK Odesa Power Grids.
