President of Finland has backed Ukraine’s strikes deep into Russian territory: ’This is sensible military strategy’
Ukraine’s strikes on Russian oil refineries and logistics facilities are increasing the number of Russian citizens who want the war to end.
According to Censor.NET, the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, made this statement at a press conference following the Coalition of the Willing summit in Kyiv.
Stubb backed Ukraine’s strikes on Russian territory
The President of Finland believes that Ukraine’s partners should help it to build up its capacity to strike deep into Russian territory.
This refers to the use of both missiles and drones.
"This increases the cost and price of the war for Russia," said Stubb.
According to him, 65 per cent of the Russian population currently wants the war to end. He also noted that strikes on logistics centres, in particular Wildberries, add a further 10 per cent to this figure.
Stubb described the Ukrainian strikes as a sensible military strategy.
"If your question is whether I consider this to be a sensible military strategy on Ukraine’s part, my answer is: yes, absolutely," emphasised the President of Finland.

Stubb stated that increasing the cost of the war for Russia is the only way to force it to the negotiating table.
At the same time, the President of Finland specifically highlighted the high financial cost of the war for Ukraine.
"Of course, we need to find a solution to this," Stubbs emphasised.
Earlier, President Zelenskyy summed up the results of the ‘Coalition of the Willing’ summit. According to him, Ukraine will receive new military and energy aid packages, air defence systems and funding for the production of drones.
