The head of state announced this on Telegram, according to Censor.NET.

"I expressed my gratitude for the strong bipartisan support for Ukraine and for voting in favour of Lindsey Graham’s sanctions bill. A very wise move. And once it is fully implemented, peace and guaranteed security will certainly be within reach," the message reads.
According to the President, the teams agreed to work more closely together on sanctions.
"I told the senators about the proposals for de-escalation that we will be discussing with the US President. We also discussed our needs for ballistic interceptors and the challenges ahead of winter. There are things we can do together with the US to protect lives. The American ‘Patriots’ cannot be replaced at present, and the more anti-ballistic defence Ukraine has, the less daring Russia will be in continuing its strikes and dragging out the war. Thank you!" he concluded.
