Zhmerynka comes under Russian attack: strike recorded, part of city without power
A strike was recorded in Zhmerynka, Vinnytsia region, following a Russian attack. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
This was reported by acting Zhmerynka Mayor Vadym Kozhukhovskyi, Censor.NET reports.
Part of Zhmerynka left without power
According to Kozhukhovskyi, the attack left part of the city and settlements near Zhmerynka without electricity. All relevant services are working at the scene, while information about the consequences of the attack is being clarified.
"A strike was recorded in Zhmerynka as a result of the enemy attack. Part of the city and settlements near Zhmerynka are currently without power. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. All relevant services are working at the scene. Information is being clarified," he wrote.
The acting mayor also urged residents not to publish photos or videos from the site of the strike or disclose its exact location and consequences.
"Please do not publish photos or videos from the site of the strike and do not share information about its exact location or consequences. Let us not help the enemy."
It was previously reported that during the day on 22 September 2026, the enemy attacked the Kyiv region with attack and jet-powered drones. Damage was recorded in two districts.
