Zelenskyy at meeting with Burns: intelligence indicates Russia is preparing new massive attack against Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham in New York. The two leaders discussed security issues, civil protection, preparations for winter, and diplomatic opportunities.

Zelenskyy and Bernam Discussed Security and Preparations for Winter
According to the president, the meeting focused on Ukraine’s security, the protection of its people, preparations for winter, and available diplomatic options.
Zelenskyy thanked the United Kingdom for its continued support of Ukraine’s energy sector. He noted that Ukraine had received a new contribution just before winter.
"I would like to thank the United Kingdom for its continued support of our energy sector. A new contribution has been made, and we especially appreciate it as winter approaches," the president wrote.
Ukraine is seeking additional air defense resources
Zelenskyy also said that Ukraine is in constant communication with its partners regarding the search for additional air defense capabilities.
According to him, Ukrainian intelligence has information that Russia is preparing a new large-scale attack against Ukraine.
The president emphasized that, given the constant threat of missile and drone strikes, lifting sanctions is out of the question.
"The Prime Minister and I share the same position on this issue: as long as the war continues, sanctions must remain in place and be strengthened," Zelenskyy said.
Earlier, Zelenskyy met with U.S. President Donald Trump.
