Russian forces attack settlement in Donetsk region with aerial bombs: at least 4 killed, 4 injured, people trapped under rubble. PHOTOS
At 10 a.m. today, September 23, Russian occupiers dropped four aerial bombs on the settlement of Oleksandrivka in Donetsk region, causing deaths and injuries.
The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported this, Censor.NET reports.
What is known
"At least 4 people have been killed and 4 injured in a morning strike on Oleksandrivka. One of the injured is a child born in 2021," the statement said.
A multi-story apartment building was destroyed. Another 11 apartment buildings, 42 private houses, a kindergarten, a store, an administrative building and 6 cars were damaged.
According to preliminary information, 8 more people may still be under the rubble, including two children born in 2024 and 2025.
Emergency rescue operations are ongoing. All relevant services are working at the scene.
Residents are once again being urged to leave, and assistance with evacuation and accommodation is being offered.
