Russian attack on Odesa region: industrial infrastructure damaged, radiation levels normal. PHOTOS
A large-scale fire has broken out in the Odesa region following a Russian attack. Industrial infrastructure has been damaged.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the State Emergency Service press centre.
Clean-up operations
As noted, firefighters worked in extremely difficult conditions: high temperatures and repeated air-raid alerts.
Specialists in radiological, chemical and biological protection (RCBP) from the State Emergency Service in Odesa carried out a survey of the area. Measurements revealed no hazardous substances, and the background radiation level is normal!
In another part of the region, holiday homes caught fire as a result of the strikes.
All fires have now been extinguished.
There were no casualties
Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries.
Over 90 firefighters from the State Emergency Service and the Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Ukraine were involved in dealing with the aftermath.
