Lithuania delivers over 253 tonnes of critical energy equipment to Ukraine

More than 253 tonnes of critical energy equipment were delivered from Lithuania to Ukraine last week.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the press service of Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy.
Lithuania supplies Ukraine with transformers and equipment
Two Ukrainian regions received the assistance. Three power transformers were supplied to the Khmelnytskyi region.
In addition, a 200 MVA autotransformer and 76 units of auxiliary equipment were delivered to Ukrenergo.
The Ministry of Energy said the assistance would strengthen Ukraine’s energy system and help restore damaged infrastructure.
"This equipment will help strengthen Ukraine’s electricity transmission and distribution networks and support repairs to infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks," the statement reads.
Ukraine receives assistance to protect its energy system
The Lithuanian assistance is another contribution to supporting Ukraine’s energy sector. The equipment will be used to strengthen electricity transmission and distribution networks and repair facilities damaged by Russian attacks.
