An air raid alert was sounded twice during the night in Kyiv. The capital was attacked by enemy drones.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the Kyiv City Military Administration’s Telegram channel.
"A fire broke out on the roof of an educational establishment in the Obolon district as a result of falling debris. Emergency services are heading to the scene," the statement reads.
The fire has been extinguished
Rescue workers have extinguished the fire caused by the Russian attack, according to the Kyiv State Emergency Service.
"As a result of this morning’s Russian shelling in the Obolon district, a fire broke out on the roof of an educational institution.
Fortunately, there were no casualties," the statement said.
What is known?
President Zelenskyy stated that more than 12 turrets have been installed in Kyiv to counter Russian jet drones.
Yurii Ihnat, head of the communications department at the Ukrainian Air Force Command, reported that the robotic turrets are already shooting down Russian jet drones, including the ‘Geran-5’.
