In the Vinnytsia region, border guards thwarted yet another attempt by a group of men to cross the state border illegally; the men had been trying to evade thermal imaging cameras using special equipment.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Border guards from the Mohyliv-Podilskyi detachment detected and detained three residents of the Donetsk region, aged between 33 and 45, near the border with Moldova.
As law enforcement officers established, the fugitives had carefully planned their route away from border crossing points, moving around border checkpoints. To cross the night-time section of the border unnoticed, the men had purchased special camouflage cloaks in advance, which the sellers had marketed as ‘anti-thermal imaging’. However, the camouflage proved ineffective – border patrols detected and stopped the group in time.
Administrative offence reports have been drawn up against those detained for attempting to cross Ukraine’s state border illegally. The cases have been referred to court.
