US is focused on ending war in Ukraine, but things are currently moving in wrong direction, -Rubio
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the US is currently focused on bringing the war in Ukraine to an end.
He stated this while speaking to the media, according to Censor.NET.
NATO membership
According to Rubio, the issue of Ukraine’s NATO membership is not currently on the agenda. Therefore, there is no clear-cut ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer at present.
Rubio on the war
The US Secretary of State stated that the United States is currently focused on bringing an end to the war in Ukraine.
"Unfortunately, the loss of life has been significant, but we have made it clear that if there is a role we can play to bring this war to an end, we want to play a constructive role. Obviously, we are monitoring developments and can see that things are currently moving in the wrong direction," Rubio explained.
