Russia attacks Kyiv with drones: debris falls in four districts, one woman killed and 8 injured. PHOTOS (updated)
On the evening of 7 October, a five-storey residential building caught fire in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district following a Russian attack. The fire spread through the premises on the first to third floors.
This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko, according to Censor.NET.
- In the Solomianskyi district, falling debris caused a fire in a five-storey residential building. Emergency services are heading to the scene.
- A private residential house also caught fire in the Solomianskyi district as a result of the enemy attack.
- At another address, preliminary reports indicate that one person has been injured.
- Medics are examining an injured person in the five-storey building in the Solomianskyi district. The fire is burning on the first to third floors.
Rescuers, firefighters, and medics are working at the scene.

- Debris fell near an educational institution in the Dniprovskyi district. Preliminary reports indicate no fire.
- Two people were injured in the Solomianskyi district. Medics hospitalised both wounded people.
- Debris fell onto the roof of an administrative building in the Sviatoshynskyi district. The roof was partially destroyed, with no fire.

"As of 6:00 p.m., the number of people injured has risen to 6," the Kyiv City Military Administration reported.

"In the Obolonskyi district, falling debris set cars parked in the courtyard of a residential building on fire. Unfortunately, a woman was killed in the enemy attack," the Kyiv City Military Administration reported.
Klitschko also reported that water pumping stations have partially lost power because of a power supply problem. Water supplies are disrupted on the city’s right bank. Energy workers are working to restore power.
