The US military has ordered an additional batch of Ukrainian F10 attack drones from F-Drones.
This was reported on the manufacturer’s Facebook page, citing the official website of the Drone Dominance programme, according to Censor.NET.
US orders an additional 1,320 Ukrainian drones
"The US military has ordered another 1,320 F10 FPV attack drones under the Drone Dominance programme, which is being implemented for the US Department of War. Our company ranks second among participants in the programme’s first phase by the size of the additional order. We consider this recognition that Ukrainian drones meet the highest quality standards," F-Drones said in a statement.
The company noted that this delivery would be fulfilled using additional production capacity.
"The deadline for fulfilling the additional F10 delivery order is the end of November. We are currently completing all necessary export procedures and approvals. We expect to receive the Ukrainian permit in good time to fulfil the contract on schedule. F-Drones’ production capacity allows us to fulfil additional orders without affecting deliveries to the front. Ukrainian defenders receive our drones on time and in full," F-Drones CEO Stanislav Khutor said.
F10 approved for export to the US
As previously reported, the F10 became the first Ukrainian drone to receive official approval for export to the United States. The first batch of 2,000 drones ordered by the US military under the Drone Dominance programme was shipped to the Pentagon in July this year.
