Estonia has sent Ukraine two containers of equipment to deal with aftermath of Russian attacks

Ukrainian rescue workers have received a new shipment of equipment and supplies from Estonia, which is necessary for them to operate amid constant Russian attacks. The aid includes protective gear, firefighting equipment, and machinery that will enable them to respond more quickly to the aftermath of shelling.
According to Censor.NET, citing ERR, the Estonian Rescue Department reported this.
Two large containers of equipment were delivered to Ukraine. Specifically, Estonian rescue workers provided their Ukrainian colleagues with helmets, protective clothing, motorized water pumps, generators, fire hoses, and a mini-tractor.
The equipment was officially handed over in Vyshneve, near Kyiv. A delegation from the Estonian Rescue Department traveled to Ukraine for this purpose.
The agency's Director General, Margo Klaos, emphasized that cooperation with Ukrainian rescue workers remains close, especially in light of the ongoing Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure.
"We must not forget that Russian military aggression extends far beyond the front lines, and it is the rescue workers who have to deal with the aftermath of these attacks," Klaos said.
According to him, Ukraine may be facing its harshest winter since the start of the full-scale war, which is why Estonia is doing everything it can to support Ukrainian emergency services.
Tarmo Voltein, head of the administrative division of the Rescue Department and head of the humanitarian mission, drew attention to the increasing intensity of Russian attacks.
He noted that in recent weeks, Russia has stepped up its attacks using missiles and drones, causing rescue equipment to wear out quickly and requiring constant replenishment.
Estonia has consistently supported Ukrainian rescue workers and demining specialists. In previous years, the country has provided rescue vehicles, drones, protective suits for bomb disposal experts, helmets, and generators.
In particular, in 2023, after the Russians destroyed the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, Estonia provided Ukraine with boats, pumps, fire hoses, dry wetsuits, rubber boots, life jackets, and other equipment to address the consequences of the flooding.
