Poland warned residents of border regions about aircraft activity due to a Russian strike on Ukraine

In Poland, residents of two border provinces were warned about military aircraft activity amid Russia’s airstrikes on Ukraine. Authorities assured the public that the situation is under control and urged citizens to stay tuned for further updates.

According to Censor.NET, the Polish Government Security Center (RCB) reported this.

According to the agency, warnings were sent by 9:30 a.m. on October 8 to residents of the Podkarpackie and Lubelskie provinces, which border Ukraine.

"ATTENTION! Russian airstrike on Ukrainian territory. The situation is under control. Polish aircraft are operating in the airspace of the Republic of Poland. Stay tuned for further updates," the alert states.

Thus, the Polish authorities informed the population of the border regions in advance about the use of aircraft in connection with Russian strikes on Ukraine.
