Civilians living in settlements near the line of contact continue to suffer from the occupiers' terrorist actions. Over the past day, the enemy carried out more than 20 shelling attacks on 13 settlements in the operational area of the "South" Group of Forces.
Anastasiia Shevchenko, spokesperson for the "South" Group of Forces, said this in a comment to Censor.NET.
Consequences of shelling in Zaporizhzhia region
Residential buildings, civilian vehicles, infrastructure facilities, and other places where civilians are present come under fire. The enemy deliberately strikes the civilian population and facilities that serve no military purpose.
In particular, a residential high-rise building was damaged in an attack using two Russian FPV drones. In Kushuhum, a suburb of the regional capital in Zaporizhzhia region, a private house was damaged, and a civilian was injured.
Kherson region
- Kherson region is also suffering from the occupiers’ terrorist acts. In particular, over the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out seven strikes directly on the city of Kherson, including two artillery barrages and five strikes from attack drones.
As a result of the attacks, five civilians were injured, and a high-rise block and private residential houses were damaged.
