"Pantsir" air defense system and UAV launch site were struck by Defense Forces, - General Staff

On October 8 and during the night of October 9, 2026, the Defense Forces struck a Russian "Pantsir-S1" air defense system in the Krasnodar Krai, a storage and launch site for attack UAVs in the occupied Donetsk region, as well as enemy ammunition depots, logistics facilities, and fuel depots.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to Censor.NET.
Anti-aircraft missile and gun system
A "Pantsir-S1" anti-aircraft missile and gun system was destroyed in the Kudepsta area of the Krasnodar Krai, the Russian Federation.
UAVs
In the area of occupied Donetsk, a facility used for the storage, preparation, and launch of strike UAVs, as well as a command and observation post of a Russian unit, were attacked.
Logistics
"Ukrainian troops also struck enemy logistics facilities. In the areas of Rubizhne, Sentianivka, and Luhansk in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Vesele in Donetsk Oblast, ammunition depots and supply depots belonging to Russian units were hit.
In addition, a field depot containing the enemy’s fuel and lubricants was struck in the Stroitel area of the Belgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation," the statement reads.
It was also confirmed that on October 6, 2026, a command and observation post belonging to a unit of the Russian Army’s Airborne Assault Division was destroyed in the Ukrainka area of Donetsk Oblast.
