Today, 11 October, Russian forces attacked an ambulance with a drone in the Sumy region, resulting in casualties.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Hryhorov, according to Censor.NET.
What is known
At around 5 am, an emergency medical team was travelling to a call-out in the Sveska community. On the way, within the Yampil community, a Russian drone struck the vehicle.
The medics managed to get out of the damaged vehicle on their own. Despite the risk of a second strike, colleagues quickly arrived at the scene and evacuated the team.
There are casualties
It is reported that the 44-year-old driver and the 59-year-old paramedic, who were in the ambulance, are currently receiving medical treatment. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
