On the afternoon of 11 October 2026, Russian forces launched KAB strikes on Kharkiv.
This was reported by the city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, on his Telegram channel, according to Censor.NET.
Where did the enemy strike?
According to him, the residential area of the Nemyshlianskyi district was hit. There is a fire at the site of the strike.
"The strike hit a car service centre next to private homes, some of which have been damaged. Reports of casualties are coming in – their number and condition are being verified," the message states.
There are casualties
According to Terekhov, three casualties have been reported so far. There are also reports of two private homes completely destroyed, with a further 15 or so damaged by the blast wave. Several cars are on fire.
In addition, a person has been rescued from the rubble of one of the damaged houses.
A woman has died
"According to updated information, the person rescued from the rubble of the damaged house was a 35-year-old woman. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the medical team, she died from her injuries," the mayor clarified.
Updated information
As Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, later clarified,a 7-year-old boy, a 44-year-old woman, and men aged 30 and 61 were injured in the enemy strike.
Thenumber of casualties later rose to eight. Among the injured were men aged 47 and 36, and women aged 62 and 72.
According to the latest information from the mayor of Terekhiv, it is currently known that one person was killed and a further 10 were injured as a result of the enemy shelling. Thirty-five houses and eight cars were damaged.
