Ukraine’s positions on front line strongest in long time – Zelenskyy on outcome of Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters meeting

Following a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukrainian troops were continuing their active defense and gradually pushing back the occupiers. Around two hundred Russian service members are killed daily in the Dobropillia area.
The president reported this in his video address, according to Censor.NET.
Report on the situation at the front
Zelenskyy said he had held a Headquarters meeting at which an important report on the situation at the front was presented. Ukrainian forces, he said, were continuing their active defense and gradually pushing back the enemy.
"Russian losses have increased in recent months. In the areas around Dobropillia alone, the Russians lose around two hundred personnel killed every day. They also have many severely wounded. We are stopping all enemy attempts to advance and infiltrate, doing everything we can to achieve this," he said.
Ukraine’s positions on the front line
Zelenskyy said Ukraine’s positions on the front line remained strong and were this year the strongest they had been in a long time.
According to him, Russian forces outnumber Ukrainian troops by six to eight times in some parts of the front, but Ukraine is still achieving the necessary results.
Zelenskyy singled out troops from:
- the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov" of the National Guard of Ukraine;
- the 1st Presidential Brigade "Burevii";
- the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade;
- the 413th "Raid" Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces;
- the 104th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces;
- the "Phoenix" Border Guard Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
He thanked all units that fully carry out their combat missions and use their weapons as effectively as possible, as well as everyone who "fights for Ukraine as they would for themselves."
