Russian invaders struck the centre of Rivne with a drone, damaging the building of an educational institution. There are casualties.
This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval, according to Censor.NET.
What is known?
"An unmanned aerial vehicle has struck the city centre. The building of an educational institution has been hit; all emergency services are on the scene. There is extensive damage, and there are casualties," he said.
It was later reported that 10 people were injured as a result of the attack in the Rivne region. One of them is in serious condition at a medical facility.
As of 11:47 a.m., 14 people are known to have been injured. One person is in serious condition, and three are in moderate condition.
The second floor and part of the facade of the academic building were damaged. The fire has been contained.
At 12:25 p.m., it was reported that the fire at the educational institution had been extinguished.
The number of injured has risen to 20, as of 12:44 p.m.
