Zelenskyy: Our team has sent proposals to US regarding further meetings
The Ukrainian team has put forward relevant proposals to the American side regarding possible future joint meetings.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about this in a video address, according to Censor.NET.
Ongoing dialogue with Washington
According to the Head of State, Ukraine is in "constant communication" with the US.
"Our teams are in talks. We must work towards peace and seek the right course of action. Ukraine is ready for talks; Ukraine has backed the US President on the issue of an energy ceasefire. Russia must also be part of this agreement," said Zelenskyy.
Proposals for new meetings
He noted that the Ukrainian team had sent the American side "relevant proposals regarding our possible future meetings and discussions".
"We are ready to meet in the coming days, and I have passed on this proposal via my team to Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner," said the president.
He added that "the Ukrainian side is always constructive, and our positions are always absolutely clear and aimed at safeguarding the independence of the Ukrainian people".
