EU opens two more negotiating clusters for Ukraine’s accession

The European Union has officially opened two more negotiating clusters for Ukraine’s accession. The decision was approved during a meeting of the Ukraine–EU Intergovernmental Conference in Luxembourg.
This is stated in a press release on the Council of the EU’s website, Censor.NET reports.
Two more clusters opened
The clusters are No. 2, "Internal market," and No. 3, "Competitiveness and inclusive growth."
"Today we have reached another milestone on Ukraine’s path to EU membership. The Irish Presidency is committed to advancing Ukraine’s EU accession process. Today’s decision demonstrates Ukraine’s resilience and determination to move forward with reforms despite extremely challenging circumstances," said Ireland’s Minister of State for European Affairs Thomas Byrne.
The European Union has set benchmarks for the future provisional closure of these chapters.
