On the Borzhavamountain pasture in the Zakarpattia region, despite the ban on motorised transport, offenders continue to be caught.

This was reported by users on Threads, according to Censor.NET.

Details

"Below the summit of Hrab, further along the ridge and towards Magura Zhyd, we came across a bunch of hooligans and louts on quad bikes!

More than 25 quad bikes, several motorbikes and two buggies were travelling in a single convoy, presumably from Potik (Richka) via the summit of Mount Hrab (1,374 m) towards Mount Magura (Zhid) (1,517 m) and further on towards Mount Hymba," noted user Viktoria.

Another traveller, Serhiy, also filmed a convoy of quad bikes.

User Iryna Demchuchen said that whilst waiting in the queue for the ski lift, she counted 14 quad bikes coming down from the peaks.

What do the police say?

Anna Dan, a spokeswoman for the Transcarpathian Regional Police, told "UP. Life" that over the weekend, law enforcement officers had not received any reports regarding off-road driving.

"We have now passed the information on to our colleagues. They are registering the cases themselves and will carry out investigations to identify the individuals involved.

The information has been entered into the unified register of reports and notifications concerning criminal offences and other incidents. Once the reports have been registered, an investigation will be carried out, the results of which will determine the legal classification of the offences," she noted.
