Today, 14 October, Russian forces launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Mykhailo Semikin, and the co-chair of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Defence Council, Ivan Fedorov.

What is known

The enemy carried out two strikes on a residential area of Zaporizhzhia. Several streets in the private housing sector of the city’s Voznesenivskyi district were targeted.

Houses were destroyed as a result of the attack. Details regarding the casualties are being confirmed.

Rescue workers have pulled a man from the rubble. Medical staff are fighting to save the injured man’s life. The injured man's condition was later stabilized. The 64-year-old man is currently on a ventilator and is being transported to the hospital.

It is also known that there are casualties. Rescue workers have already launched a search and rescue operation.

Emergency services are already on the scene and providing assistance to residents.
