European Council is set to call for ban on transit of Ukrainian grain, seized by Russia, through EU

The European Council plans to call for a ban on the export through EU territory of Ukrainian grain seized by Russia in the temporarily occupied territories. A provision to this effect is included in the draft conclusions of the summit scheduled for 15–16 October.
This has been reported by Censor.NET, citing "European Truth", whose correspondent reviewed the draft document in Brussels.
According to the document, European Union leaders should emphasise the need to prevent the EU’s territory from being used to export grain that Russia is illegally removing from the occupied Ukrainian territories.
"The European Council emphasises the need to prevent the export through the EU of grain stolen by Russia from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories," the draft conclusions state.
In short, this refers to the intention of EU leaders to call for a de facto ban on the transit of stolen Ukrainian grain through the territory of the European Union.
At the same time, the document is currently being drafted. The final decision and the wording of the conclusions are to be agreed at the European Council summit on 15–16 October.
