Zelenskyy: Russians launch new wave of drones, demonstrating intent to continue war despite US appeals

Zelenskyy

Russia has launched a new wave of attack drones against Ukraine, demonstrating a deliberate intention to continue the war despite appeals from the United States.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this, Censor.NET reports.

New wave of attacks and disregard for peace appeals

"The Russians are now launching a new wave of drones. This is deliberate, constant pressure on our people. Russia is once again showing what it really wants. This is a deliberate continuation of the war, despite appeals from America and the American president. That is why Moscow must be forced to stop, rather than persuaded – through increased pressure, sanctions and assistance to Ukraine that enables us to protect people from these attacks," the head of state stressed.

Appeal to G7 leaders and partners

The president noted that this is precisely what Ukraine expects from all its partners – "from all G7 leaders, from every country that stands for peace".

"There must be action. Because as long as Russia does not feel sufficient pressure, it continues to bring death," the head of state said.

Enemy strike on Lutsk

Zelenskyy also reported that a Russian strike on Lutsk today killed six people and injured another 13.

"My condolences to everyone who has lost family and loved ones to this Russian aggression. A Shahed attack damaged civilian infrastructure, a residential building and a shop. More strikes, more terror. And this is happening after a massive overnight attack on energy infrastructure, while restoration work is still underway in Kyiv and the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions," the head of state said.
