NATO does not see threat of imminent Russian attack, but is ready to defend every centimeter of its territory, - Rutte

The North Atlantic Alliance currently sees no signs that Russia is preparing for an imminent attack on NATO countries, although Moscow remains a long-term threat to European security.
According to Censor.NET, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte made this statement during a visit to Estonia.
Rutte sees no signs that Russia is preparing for an attack
According to Rutte, Russia’s hybrid attacks against European countries are a sign of Moscow’s weakness rather than its strength.
He assured that the allies would respond immediately if Russia began preparing to attack NATO countries.
NATO pledges to defend every inch of its territory
"We will defend every inch of NATO countries’ territory, regardless of whether people live there or not, whether it is near Paris, Tallinn, Washington, or Ottawa. We have all the necessary plans in place, and we are ready for this," the secretary general emphasized.
He also noted that forward-deployed ground forces are already stationed along NATO’s eastern flank.
Earlier, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Alexus Grinkevich, warned that in the event of an attack on any Alliance member state, the allies would destroy all forces involved in the aggression.
Rutte also commented separately on Russian provocations in Europe. According to him, the Alliance has sufficient means to counter sabotage and other threats.
