Defense Forces struck Russian targets in Voronezh and Oryol regions and in Black Sea, - Zelenskyy
Ukraine continues its long-range operations in response to Russia's protracted war.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement, according to Censor.NET.
Airfield in the Voronezh Region
Thus, last night in the Voronezh region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes on an airfield.
- Four Su-34 aircraft were destroyed,
- two Su-34 aircraft were hit.
"The Russians used them to terrorize our people. These very planes were ready to launch new strikes against Ukraine and were equipped with aerial bombs," the president emphasized.
It is noted that a long-range "Neptune" missile was used to strike the target: "Thank you to the soldiers of the Navy for their accuracy!"
Other targets
- Long-range sanctions were also imposed on the storage and launch sites of attack drones in the Oryol region.
- A target was also struck in the Black Sea.
"These are our just responses to all of Russia's acts of terror against Ukraine. Russia is dragging out the war, so our long-range operations will continue," Zelenskyy emphasized.
