244 combat clashes on front: enemy exerts most pressure in Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors – General Staff
A total of 244 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day.
This is stated in the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff’s update as of 10 p.m., Censor.NET reports.
Enemy attacks
The enemy carried out 63 air strikes, dropping 197 guided aerial bombs. It also deployed 3,181 kamikaze drones and conducted 1,462 attacks on settlements and Ukrainian troop positions.
Situation in the north
In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, the occupiers carried out one air strike using three KABs and conducted 47 attacks on Ukrainian troop positions and settlements since the beginning of the day.
Fighting in Kharkiv region
- In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 16 times near Starytsia, Izbytske and Chuhunivka, and towards Buzove and Radkivka.
- In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy made three attempts to improve its positions through assault operations towards Novoosynove and Shyikivka. One combat clash is ongoing.
Fighting in the east
Ukrainian troops fought off six attempts by the invaders to advance towards Olhivka, Druzheliubivka and Lyman in the Lyman sector. One battle is ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defence Forces stopped two attempts by the invaders to advance towards Orikhuvatka and Mykolaivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy made three attempts to improve its positions through assault operations near Chervone and towards Yurkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defence Forces repelled 22 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka and Dovha Balka, and towards Rozkishne, Mykolaipillia and Raiske.
The enemy carried out 31 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers attempted to advance near Dorozhnie and towards Toretske, Pavlivka, Novopavlivka, Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Hannivka, Dobropillia, Svitle, Krasnopodillia and Serhiivka.
According to preliminary estimates, 83 occupiers were eliminated and 13 wounded in this sector today. Seven vehicles, four pieces of specialised equipment and 33 enemy personnel shelters were destroyed. Four UAV control posts and 62 enemy personnel shelters were damaged. Fourteen UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy did not conduct assault operations.
Situation in the south
- In the Huliaipole sector, the Defence Forces repelled 17 enemy attacks towards Rizdvianka, Dolynka and Hirke.
- In the Orikhiv sector, the occupiers attempted to improve their positions, attacking twice towards Pavlivka. One combat clash is ongoing.
- In the Prydniprovske sector, the occupiers did not conduct assault operations.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other sectors.
