The news outlet's sources confirmed that Kyiv and Brussels had agreed to hold the summit "as soon as an agreement of the visa-free travel is reached."
The procedure of granting Ukrainian citizens visa-free travel to the EU requires time. The matter should be considered by a parliamentary committee and subsequently supported at a plenary session of the European Parliament. Finally, the decision must be approved by the EU Council.
Earlier, Ukraine and EU agreed on rescheduling the planned summit from May 19 to September 2016.
