According to the head of the Military-Civilian Administration, two people are believed to have been killed and two others injured.
A fire broke out in the shops.

"In the middle of the day, the enemy struck Chernihiv with a ‘Banderol’. Right in the city centre. Just when the streets were busy.
Unfortunately, two people are already confirmed dead. They were girls. Both were just 15 years old. At least nine people have been injured, including children," the head of the Regional Military Administration later reported.
As of 1:13 p.m., the number of people injured had risen to 15. Two children were among the injured.
The number of people injured in the strike on Chernihiv has risen to 23, including four children aged 10, 16 and 17 years and 10 months.
