Rubio hinted that Ukraine’s NATO membership is unrealistic and that Putin will not agree to deal until spring 2027, - media

The US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, has hinted that Ukraine will not join NATO in the coming years. However, the main obstacle to this is, first and foremost, the stance taken by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
This was reported on social media platform X by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty journalist Alex Raufoglu, according to Censor.NET.
Ukraine’s NATO membership
The journalist’s sources claim that Rubio allegedly described Ukraine’s NATO membership as a security guarantee as "unrealistic in the short term".
According to Rubio, Putin "would never agree to this".
Prospects for a peace deal
Furthermore, according to Raufoglu, European diplomats emerged from the discussions with the impression that Rubio does not believe Putin will agree to any deal regarding Ukraine before spring 2027.
