Russian army has set new negative record: Russia lost 2,500 troops in single day, - General Staff

On 1 November, the Russian army suffered its heaviest daily losses since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Ukrainian defence forces neutralised 2,500 Russian soldiers.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On 1 November, the Ukrainian Defence Forces neutralised 2,500 Russian invaders. These are the enemy’s highest daily losses since the start of the full-scale war," the statement reads.
The General Staff noted that the previous record for daily losses was set on 21 October 2026, when Russia lost 2,250 troops.
Prior to that, for almost two years, the highest figure had been the losses on 19 December 2024, when 2,200 occupiers were neutralised in a single day.
October proved to be the bloodiest month for the Russian army
"October 2026 was the month with the highest casualties for the Russian Federation’s army in the entire history of this war: 54,400 invaders killed and wounded," the General Staff emphasised.
By way of comparison, this is almost equal to the entire population of the Russian city of Vorkuta, which has a population of around 55,000.
Thus, in a single month, the Russian army lost a number of personnel equivalent to the population of an entire city.
