Peace talks: Kushner praised collaboration between Zelenskyy and Ukrainian team

Kushner said he is working with all parties to achieve peace in Ukraine

U.S. President’s Special Envoy Jared Kushner stated that the U.S. continues to work with all parties involved in the negotiation process to find ways to achieve a peaceful resolution to Russia’s war against Ukraine. He also spoke highly of the cooperation between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian team.

According to Censor.NET, Kushner wrote about this on the social media platform X.

In his post, the special envoy shared Zelenskyy’s message and noted the Ukrainian side’s constructive stance and willingness to work toward finding a solution.

"We are working diligently with all parties in this regard to find a path to lasting peace," Kushner said.

On ending the war

According to him, the goal of the negotiations is not only to stop the war but also to create conditions that will prevent hostilities from resuming in the future.

"Our focus is not only on ending this horrific war but also on creating the broader security architecture necessary to ensure that, once hostilities cease, they never recur," the U.S. administration representative wrote.

Separately, Kushner praised "the constructive engagement of President Zelenskyy and his team, as well as their commitment to finding a way forward."

Thus, the U.S. special envoy emphasized the continuation of contacts with all parties and the importance not only of ending hostilities but also of establishing long-term security guarantees to prevent a new war.
