Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Andorra discussed energy sector and return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russian Federation. VIDEO
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Andorra's Prime Minister Xavier Espot Zamora to discuss joint efforts to bring back Ukrainian children abducted by Russia.
The president reported this on his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
Returning Ukrainian children
"We are working extensively with the Vatican, countries in the Middle East, and our other partners. We have already managed to bring back 2,790 children out of more than 20,000 abducted. But each time, there are challenges: finding them, verifying the information, providing proof, and bringing them back. And each time, Russia resists," Zelenskyy said.
The two sides discussed specific steps Andorra could take to help: "We agreed that our teams would get in touch and work together."
Support for the energy sector
Zelenskyy and Andorra's prime minister also discussed how Andorra could support Ukraine's energy sector.
"I briefed him on the situation with Russian strikes and the consequences of these attacks. Any support for the energy sector now and throughout the winter can help our people. Thank you!" the president added.
