US, together with partners, is developing five objectives for new European security architecture, - Kushner

Kushner outlined five goals for Europe’s new security architecture

The United States, together with Ukraine, NATO, and European allies, is working out the parameters of a new European security architecture. The initiative encompasses five key areas and is to be based on respect for the sovereignty of states and their right to choose their security alliances independently.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Jared Kushner, an adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, on the social media platform X.

According to him, the parties are considering five main objectives:

  • ongoing consultations on security matters;

  • reliable channels of communication during crises;

  • increasing military transparency;

  • mutual measures to reduce the risk of escalation;

  • establishing a solid foundation for long-term security and stability in Europe.

Kushner emphasized that any agreements must fully respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and right of each state to make its own decisions.

"Each country will retain authority over its own security and alliances, and no country will have the right to veto another country's sovereign decisions," he said.

NATO will remain the cornerstone of Europe's defense

At the same time, Trump’s adviser emphasized that NATO will remain a central element of Europe’s collective defense, and the new initiative will build on existing institutions and commitments.

According to Kushner, Donald Trump held a substantive discussion with a number of European leaders on creating the conditions for lasting peace. Washington plans to continue consultations in the Shell Bay format, with the participation of Ukraine, NATO, the European Union, and European partners. Russia is also to be involved in the peace process.
