On 17 September, during one of his broadcasts, Piatyhorets said:
Each of our underground schools served a dual purpose. The one built in Komyshuvakha now houses the entire administrative headquarters; in other words, the entire local authority of Komyshuvakha is based there. All our UAV operators are also based there.
It is simply impossible to flush people out of such a bunker. It has sophisticated systems for air purification and ventilation, and the premises are fully stocked with food supplies.
In other words, wherever there are underground schools, you can consider them impregnable fortresses that the enemy would not dare to approach. They won’t crawl in, they won’t go in – they simply won’t set foot there.
On 2 November, Russian occupiers attacked Komyshuvakha.
