During a combined air strike that began yesterday evening, the Russians targeted energy and fuel infrastructure facilities in the Zhytomyr and Zvyagel communities in the Zhytomyr region.
This was reported on a Telegram channel by Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, according to Censor.NET.
Consequences
As noted, repair work and efforts to deal with the aftermath of the enemy attacks have been ongoing throughout the night and continue at present.
Power company staff are doing everything possible to restore electricity supplies to residents of the region.
Fires at the sites of the strikes have been extinguished by State Emergency Service rescue teams.
No casualties were reported
No reports of fatalities or injuries have been received.
It was previously reported that the enemy had struck an energy facility in the Zhytomyr region.
