Знеструмлення через атаки

On the night of November 8 and into the morning, Russia once again attacked a number of energy facilities. As a result, there are new power outages in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.

The Ministry of Energy reported on the current situation in Ukraine's power grid as of the morning of November 8, according to Censor.NET.

Restoration Work

It is noted that in all affected regions where the security situation permits, utility workers are continuing repair and restoration work.

However, repeated enemy attacks and constant air raid alerts are making these efforts significantly more difficult and delaying the restoration of power.

What is the situation in the regions?

  • As of this morning, the situation is most critical in the Dnipro region. A significant number of power facilities critical to the region’s electricity supply have been damaged as a result of enemy attacks. Power utility workers are working to restore electricity. Emergency power outages are in effect until the situation in the region stabilizes.
  • Emergency power outages have also been implemented in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
  • The situation in the Kyiv region also remains challenging. Due to significant damage to the power infrastructure, grid restrictions remain in place. Work to restore a stable power supply is continuing around the clock.

The Ministry of Energy emphasizes that due to constant enemy attacks throughout the day, the situation in the power grid may change.
