Poroshenko is confident Ukraine will get visa-free regime in autumn

Draft resolution on the introduction of Ukraine in the list of countries whose nationals do not need a visa to enter the EU has already been prepared and registered.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has no doubts that the European Union will decide on granting Ukraine a visa-free regime this autumn. He said in Vinnytsia, citing the president's address on 112 TV Channel.

"I am confident will get a visa-free regime this autumn," he said.

As reported, draft resolution on the introduction of Ukraine in the list of countries whose nationals do not need a visa to enter the EU has already been prepared and registered in the European Parliament.

Granting of visa-free regime to Ukraine will be discussed in the European Parliament on Sept. 5.
