Poroshenko, Merkel, Hollande to hold phone talks by weekend, - Yelisieiev
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande will have a telephone conversation before the end of the week.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Kostiantyn Yelisieiev said, Censor.NET reports referring to Radio Svoboda.According to him, the upcoming political talks will concern the results of agreements reached at the G20 summit in China.
Yelisieiev notes the conversation is intended to find further ways to the development of the Normandy format.
"We'll discuss the implications of agreements, develop a line of work for the near future," the official noted.
Earlier, Merkel announced at the G20 summit that the highest level Normandy Four meeting may take place in the near future, giving no exact date.
Hollande, in turn, said the meeting could be held in coming weeks.
Representative of Russian President Dmitry Peskov noted the Kremlin is still undecided as to a Normandy summit on Ukraine.
