LIBE committee recommends European Parliament to waive visas for Ukrainians

Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) recommends the European Parliament to grant visa-free travel to the EU for Ukrainians.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, the committee members upheld the corresponding decision at a meeting today.

Mariya Gabriel delivered report on the EU visa regime liberalization for the Ukrainian citizens to the committee members.

As reported, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expects the European Union to waive visas for Ukrainians in early October.

In early September, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Ukraine implemented the European Union's requirements for the introduction of visa-free travel.
