Ukrainian side of JCCC requests complete seven-day cease-fire and constant monitoring by OSCE for disengagement
Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff.
"The military of the Ukrainian side of JCCC reconnoitered the designated disengagement areas and defined possible spots for deployment of outlook posts for JCCC and OSCE SMM monitors. The Ukrainian side of the SMM Joint Center says OSCE should be key in conducting monitoring and verification of the disengagement of troops and hardware.
"At the moment, technical issues are being settled. With the purpose of securing 24/7 monitoring of the situation at certain areas, the Ukrainian side to JCCC has conducted cross-leveling of personnel and vehicles. The issues of cooperation and coordination with OSCE SMM have been worked through. The Ukrainian side is ready to fulfill the framework decision," the JCCC message reads.
"The disengagement of troops and hardware on the Ukrainian side of the designated areas will be conducted in full compliance with the framework decision and given due execution of conditions stipulated in the document: 1. Complete seven-day cease-fire at each of the designated disengagement areas specified in addendum to the framework decision; 2. Constant monitoring of the disengagement process of troops and hardware by OSCE SMM," the JCCC stressed.
"JCCC continues to support complete cease-fire and timely reacts to possible impediments to monitoring and verification by SMM OSCE and secures the monitors of the OSCE SMM. The Armed Forces of Ukraine strictly adhere to the cease-fire deal and relevant paragraphs of the Minsk accords," the JCCC summed up.
