OSCE disproves claims of alleged monitoring suspension in Luhansk region
In response to claims that OSCE observers allegedly stopped monitoring in some areas, the Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine reports that it continues to monitor the security situation across the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Censor.NET reports citing the fact check by the OSCE SMM.The statement reads: "The OSCE SMM continues to monitor the security situation across Donetsk and Luhansk regions. However the Mission has been restricted in its freedom of movement by the presence of mines.
"The SMM is ready to be present and perform its activities on a daily basis. In order to fulfil this task the Mission need safe, secure and unconditional access for the SMM monitors," the fact check reads.
