Poroshenko enacts NSDC decision on special personal sanctions against Russia

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree enacting the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of Sept. 16, 2016 on the implementation of special personal economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions).

According to the document, the president has assigned the enactment of the decision of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council of Sept. 16, 2016 on the implementation of special personal economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions).

"The control over the implementation of the NSDC decision enacted by this decree shall be assigned to the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine," the document reads.
