Cabinet approves amendments to Tax Code

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a package of amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine.

The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk said the government had approved three bills to amend the Tax, Budget and Customs Codes on Oct. 5.

"They are intended to curtail corruption risks in tax administration and business facilitation," the minister said.

On Oct. 25, the National Reform Council approved the above-mentioned changes.

The Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs stated the National Reform Council had approved the idea to tax the moved out capital.
