Putin willing to improve mutual relations with US, - Peskov

Spokesperson for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov says Putin is willing to improve mutual relations between Moscow and Washington.

"Russia's position is consistent, President Putin's stance is well known - it is consistent, it is quite flexible, though the flexibility has its limits. Putin supports rapprochement, the improvement in our relations. We will see how strong the reciprocity will be," he said.

Dmitry Peskov advised not to take a dim view of improvements in Russia-U.S. relations after Donald Trump's victory in the U.S. presidential election as "everything will still be very uneasy."
