Ukraine helps establishing NATO center to combat hybrid threats, - Klimkin
Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin says Ukraine is engaged in setting up a center of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) intended to resist potential hybrid threats.
He said it at a press conference following a Ukraine-NATO meeting at the level of foreign ministers in Brussels (Belgium), Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine."I can't speak of all the consultations being underway in this sphere between Ukraine and NATO. NATO is setting up a special platform to counter hybrid threats, we are involved in this process," the minister said.
He noted that among other things the platform will carry out an effective analysis of intelligence and counter Russia's propaganda.
"This is a truly integrated initiative. Unfortunately, we've got the greatest experience in countering Russian propaganda. NATO understands that," he stressed.
As previously reported, the European Union and NATO are planning to establish a center to combat hybrid threats in 2017.
